The Inflation Adjustment of Premium Processing Fees went into effect on February 26

As previously announced, the new inflation-adjusted fees from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) went into effect on February 26, particularly affecting the filing fee for Form I-907.

The final rule, published on December 28, 2023, reflects the USCIS Stabilization Act, which allows for biennial adjustments. These fees, unchanged for three years, experience an increase for all categories, with some adjusted from $1,500 to $1,685, from $1,750 to $1,965, and from $2,500 to $2,805. If the Form I-907 postmarked after February 26, 2024, has an incorrect fee, it will be rejected, and the fee will be returned.

The increase in these fees will contribute to improving services and reducing delays in processing applications.
