“Trump Gold Card”: New official route to permanent residence in the U.S.
The official website TrumpCard.gov presents the Trump Gold Card program, a new initiative by the U.S. government that offers an accelerated pathway to obtain permanent residence (green card). Under this program, applicants pay a non-refundable $15,000 processing fee to the Department of Homeland Security, and after passing a rigorous background check, they may contribute $1 million to demonstrate that they will provide a substantial benefit to the country and thereby gain residence throughout the United States with permanent immigrant status.

In addition to the Gold Card for individuals, the official site announces a future Trump Platinum Card, which would allow its holders to reside up to 270 days per year without paying taxes on non-U.S. income in exchange for a larger contribution of $5 million. There are also corporate options (Trump Corporate Gold Card), where companies can sponsor employees by paying $2 million per worker, with benefits that in some cases may be transferable between employees.
The application process, which is already active, requires interested individuals to submit their application online through the portal, pay the corresponding fees, and complete all verification steps established by USCIS. The stated goal of the program is to attract investment and talent to the country, offering a more direct and faster route to permanent residence compared to traditional immigration categories based on employment or skills.
