The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a statement expressing its recognition of the victims and families affected by crimes committed by individuals with irregular immigration status in the United States. The message highlighted the strength and resilience of those who have suffered losses and serious harm, as well as the institution’s commitment to public safety and victim support.
